Question for [livejournal.com profile] jetgrrl01, or anyone else who's been following the Shape saga:

Have you tried the "Sleek, Strong, and Stress-Free" yoga based workout in the latest issue? (The article isn't online yet.) Just wondering because I tried it tonight- you wouldn't think such simple-looking moves would take so much work! Definitely felt them all.

Hopefully this means that doing them a few times a week for several weeks will show some results...

I haven't tried that particular workout, but I have done a couple of yoga videos and you betcha they hurt like the dickens. It's not a huffin' puffin' thing, but yes, an amazing workout, especially if you haven't done slow stretchy muscle work before. Once I finish the next two weeks (the last 2 weeks) of the program I'm doing with the Self Challenge I'll be starting to mix up my program again and I'll probably do at least one yoga workout a week.

It's funny because I'm doing the Self Challenge, but I've actually subscribed to Shape for years. :) I just got sucked into the Self one because of friends' participation.
