I'm a 40-something female from Minnesota, happily married to a wonderful man, and we have a very energetic little boy.

I'll read pretty much anything, but have a particular fondness for anything by Laurie King, Lois McMasters Bujold, and Connie Willis, among many others. I also freely admit to reading (and enjoying) the Harry Potter series- Hermione rocks.

Music- not really in the loop these days, but I listen to a wide range of stuff. From Rachmaninov and Elgar, to Elvis Costello, Tom Waits, Madeleine Peyroux, and Tapping the Vein. When the radio's on, it's almost always the current.

I watched X-Files and Farscape through the end(s), and am wondering when the Babylon 5 and Homicide reruns will start again. Big fan of early West Wing, miss Frasier, hated Friends and Seinfeld. Hooked on House, Venture Brothers, Frisky Dingo (a constant source of WTF???)and Dr. Who (damn,it's good to see that back).
