Knee was pretty painful last night. Had a vicodin before bed, but it was still pretty bad this morning so I surrendered and had another first thing.

Haven't really gotten anything done this morning, except check email and fiddle around with the computer. Have one load of delicates ready to hang dry. Still so tired- think I'll just go back to bed once I've hung things up.

I keep having the wierdest feeling about this trip next weekend. Don't know how to describe it, just that there's a bad feeling hanging over it. Nothing specific, just the idea that it's dangerous to go.

Very odd.

don't ignore that kind of vague feeling. whether you call it gut instinct or a psychic thing, that kind of thing is accurate more often than not.

plus, that knee is a really easy out at this point. can't go, doctor said. end of story, nobody will give you shit.

I know, I don't want to ignore it.

Problem is, I don't know if it's just nerves (I've never been good about hanging around in large groups for more than a couple hours at a time, and besides the meetings I'll be sharing a hotel room, so no "alone" time there, either), or if there's something serious to it. When I was considering it before the knee went, I wasn't getting anything like this. (Checked with the doctor yesterday- he thought that as long as I had a wheelchair for getting around over the weekend, it would be fine.)

Now, unfortunately, I've already paid for the non-refundable bits, and can't really afford to lose that. :(

I've been trying to narrow down what the feeling relates to- Knoxville itself "feels" fine. Being in the mountains and all does, too. I think the problem might be the coach trip, but I'm not positive.
