I always wondered why pharmacists could affort not to do their jobs on a whim, just because they 'feel' like it. Only the president has the right (which he does, quite liberally).

If you had a pharmacists who refused to dispense cancer treatment drugs, heart medication, hell--vicodin--you'd be looking at news media blitzes followed by public condemnation by the store owners and promises that it would never happen again. But nooo, we can always blame the woman who 'got herself pregnant'. Easy way to make pharmacists do the work? Hold them responsible for the pregnancy by not fully advising of the side effects of not taking a prescription medication. A few million here and there, and I'm certain the industry would find a way to make it palletable to their so-called conscience.
