asherisI'm off to go sit outside for four hours and cheer on voters. Also, to follow up with voters who pledged to come out for Kerry, make sure they remembered, and do some driving if anyone needs a ride.
Actually, I've been on call for driving all day, but no calls. Then again, I do live in a reasonably "upscale" suburb, where due to a lake of decent/frequent public transport, most people have cars.
Let's see...
lawn chair - check
thermos of hot tea - check
hooded sweatshirt for extra layer under winter coat later - check
gloves, etc. - check
blanket to help against cold - check, already in the car (this IS Minnesota!)
King's Street Atlas, in case I need to give rides - check
cell phone - check
Guess I just need to get myself out the door!
