asherisHow freaky. An LJ user was visited by the Secret Service, because someone reported that she'd "threatened the President" in one of her LJ posts.
That the Secret Service visited over a reported threat, well, so be it- it seems they were polite, and they were just doing their job.
What bugs me about this, is that someone on LJ turned her in. Someone who did not grasp the basic concept of satire, decided they needed to call the Secret Service and report something they didn't like as a threat?
What is this world coming to?
