No, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. Just haven't had much to write about.

Work was pretty irksome for a while there. After discovering that the bookkeeper was utterly incompetent, I ended up going back and completely redoing the books for the past couple years. That was a thill and a half. The accountant was amazed at how much L (the old bookkeeper) had screwed up. He'd come to us with a few questions about unmarked deposits/expenses in regards to the 2003 taxes, which was when we found the mess. Now he also gets to file amended returns for 2002. Whee.

Meanwhile, P may be starting a new job this week, though I'm nervous about mentioning it for fear of jinxing it! (It is down here, so we'll actually get to see each other. Maybe even all the time!)

As to jinxing it, it's been one dumb thing after another- just today his internet and phone service went down, so you can imagine what a fun time he's having trying to stay in contact with the HR people in regards to all the paperwork he's having to do!

Good job vibes in P's direction greatly welcomed...

Week before last my allergies were acting up something awful. Last week, the seemed to be getting better, but then something else hit. I haven't been to the office since Thursday because I'm so exhausted and sleeping all the time. Hopefully I've about kicked it, because I can't afford time off! Not to mention that constantly feeling weak and exhausted gets old really fast.

So far not much gardening. I did pick up some impatiens and lobelia a few weeks ago and have those in pots/planters. The impatiens are "Dazzler violet", which really looks like a deep fuschia, and the lobelia is the "Regatta midnight blue", which is absolutely gorgeous. Both shade/semi-sun plants, so I'm hoping they'll do well.

Haven't really decided what other plants will be on my balcony this summer.

If I were smart, I'd go lie down for half an hour before going to the chiropracter.
