I suppose I've been getting a fair amount done today... 3 hours so far on the project (with 4-5 more likely later this evening), a couple loads of laundry, changed the bed, hung the duvet on the line to air since there was a good breeze today, cleaned the cat box...
Just another day in my wild life.
Woody needed to pick up a couple things, so he's going to come by in a bit with a couple of carnitas burritos from Chipotle. Rock- I love that place.
I've broken down and started taking a little more vicodin than I had been (a whole whopping 3 tabs a day instead of 1-2). It's easier to control the pain in the first place, than to try to get rid of it once it's got its claws in you!
Project- was notified early this afternoon that not only did the client want a couple samples tomorrow for review, they want everything in the navigation working and 4-5 pages WITH content ready to go. (I hadn't realized that one of them WAS a page file, actually; I thought it was just a reference for us!) Hence the long hours today.
Some of the other changes they wanted meant rebuilding the tables from scratch- at least, it was faster to build new than adapt existing, as there are just too many little things that can go wrong with what they want. They're print people, and just a teensy bit anal about things. We're having to show & explain to them as we go that the web doesn't work quite the same as print when it comes to fonts and colors. You just don't have the same control over viewer experience as you do with print.
