Hurray!

Mattress is ordered, and will be delivered tomorrow.

Didn't get back to the store today, since this cold is especially bitchy in the morning (as they often are), but I laid in bed for a while thinking about how the two mattresses had felt, and decided to stick with yesterday's decision.

This is going to be so nice! A bed that actually lets me get a good night's sleep.

Financially, the timing sucks, but beds seem to operate on a variation of Murphy's law, rather like car repairs.

Look at it as a necessary expense. You spend 1/3rd of your life asleep. That might as well be a very comfortable time. :-)

Yep. Some things, you can go for the cheapest just to get by until finances improve, or even do without.

Mattresses/beds are not one of those things!
