I was pretty much in agreement until it hit the bit about "we're supposed to be the good guys".
America has never been "the good guys". What we're supposed to do is mind our own business more and stop trying to tell everyone else how to run their countries. Some interference will be necessary but when it involves global relations, I'd like to leave that to the United Nations and have a group of nations calling the shots, not just us.
It's been just us since 9-11 and it's getting worse. One would think the government would realize that there's a reason why even our own allies won't support or condone our behavior any longer.
