asherisSaw Spider-man Friday night- excellent. A few changes from the comic book story, but as far as I can tell they're just a modernization of the original. (Genetic manipulation instead of radioactivity, thus webbing glands instead of invented mechanical ones.) Toby Maguire was excellent.
Yesterday involved much sleep. Watched the Derby- excellent run by War Emblem. Went out for a seminar in the evening and saw some hilarious speakers.
Today went out to the Minnetonka brush dump, where you can get free mulch and compost. Got a pail of each. Came home and spent an hour or so mixing compost, soil, and fertilizer and got the pots and tubs ready for gardening. Got some seeds started in a makeshift mini greenhouse, which I wish I'd have done a couple weeks ago. (oh well.)
Went down and did a half hour on the exercise bike and listened to long, rolling thunder. About half an hour ago it started pouring, and we got a bit of hail. Beautifully intense!
Ayuh, I live life on the wild side.
Need to do laundry tonight, as well as get my computer back to the desk- this involves clearing off the desk, of course! Cable modem and such will be delivered tomorrow- yay!!
