I loathe NBC. Just sent them a nasty email about their crappy coverage of the Olympics. nbcshows@nbc.com seems to be the only address that fits.)

Three channels, and they can only manage 21.5 hours of "total" coverage per day- INCLUDING their talk show bits. (Out of HOW many hours of actual competition??)

This afternoon on their channels:

(I don't know why it's insisting on throwing in this massive amount of blank space. Numerous attempts to edit aren't changing it.)

One begins to suspect that they spent so much to buy the rights, that they have no funds left to actually cover or show events.

You read my mind!!!! I've taken to watching the Canadian channel here (in French, which I do not speak) just because I want to see what's happening. For some bizarre reason I love watching winter sports and I can't believe NBC hasn't been showing things live all weekend. What are they doing?!

Crisis coverage? There's a crisis?

Well, there's the Enron fraud, the deliberate destruction of Social Security by stealing the surplus and giving it to big corporations in the form of tax breaks and military spending, and the continued presence of an unelected usurper in the White House, but nothing I'd call a crisis.
