The major local paper has a (free) service where you type in your resume, and they notify you when employment ads regarding your skills are placed.

Unfortunately, it's not very good.

My resume includes web development, research, and that sort of thing.

Workavenue then comes up with "matches" such as:

• satellite installer
  
• family counselor
  
• 2nd shift welder
  
• mortgage banker
  

I think you can see why I don't find that job site very helpful...
