I need to be using it from the project I'm on, but
I'm standing in for someone who's out on paternity leave, and as of his last day here (Jan 30) he'd not yet gotten any information about the new verson control system- didn't even know which one they were using yet! (Replacing SourceSafe, which I'd actually worked with before.)
As you can imagine, I'm not getting very far at the moment.
If anyone has any experience with this thing, any suggestions you can give me for finding a nice demo that can give me a quick run-through of how it works (before I accidentally change something on the server) would be greatly appreciated!
I need to be using it from the project I'm on, but
- There seems to be no paper documentation at all.
- The help files assume you've had training with it already and don't give you any of the basics.
- The demonstration links on the Merant website all seem to be broken ("file not found").
- The contact person for it in-house is currently unreachable.
- The "support" section on the Merant website requires specific login information- which I don't have.
