Feb. 13th, 2003 08:27 pmI'm so glad someone in Washington is really speaking out (we miss you, Paul Wellstone!); but it's a bit of a shock to be agreeing so strongly with Senator Byrd, of all people!
This CommonDreams.org site is very interesting; also check out the commentary piece on the Bush Administration’s Attacks on the United Nations. Thorough explanations about aspects of the UN that the Bush Administration is trying to spin in such a way as to make the UN look bad.

I also recommend House of Cards: Bush's Paper-Thin Evidence to Justify a War has Fallen Apart. Contains a few other bits and pieces that have been either ignored or under-reported in the usual news sources.
