Okay, this hacking cough has GOT to go. I'm sick of feeling like my throat's being ripped up.

Working with a combination of hot teas (mainly black and peppermint, with a pinch of comfrey), cough syrup/expectorant, and sleep; think today I'll add in some heavy steam time in the sauna and some hot/spicy food. If I can find the energy to make any.

I think it's time for another nap now, though. Falling asleep face down on the keyboard just isn't good for the complexion.

Watching the History of Sex on the history channel, dealing with sex and marriage customs in India throughout history. One of the scholars they interviewed was commenting on the "ideal" female looking rather like a Barbie doll- large breasts, tiny waist, wider hips and thighs:

"One of the nicest things you could say to a woman, is that her breasts are as big as the sinus lobes on an elephant's forehead. For me, this loses a little something in the translation."



No kidding.
