I think I'm going to be having nightmares about things like "Line V, Item 23", Home Office expenses, and depreciation of business assets. Either I won't be able to find them, or they'll be chasing me.

I think I have all the main things in, but I have no fucking clue if I've done it right. (Something must be off, it says I'm getting a couple hundred back; I figured I'd be doing good if I broke even!?)

The medical expense deduction only seems to apply if you're itemizing; since the standard deduction is still a better deal for me, I guess I'm not getting that. Of course, one doesn't find this out until after one has dug around and found any and all receipts and verified things from Quicken, compared expense descriptions to the names of the blanks given, and read 7-8 pages of instructions written by a sadist who could give the Marquis a run for his money.

That part was a couple hours down the drain...

I think I need a good stiff drink before I go try to sleep. I've bloody well earned it.

And what on earth made me think I should try to do all the rest of this tonight? Staring at a computer screen for over 10 hours today (some for work) when I know I've become more prone to cyclical migraines over the past year, and this is the point where one is likely to hit?

What the hell was I thinking...
