Today was pretty nice- got paid for invoice #2 of 3, and got my jammed car door fixed for about $25.

Yay.

On the downside, getting the car fixed meant I didn't get home until after 11, and didn't get to talk to The Guy this evening.


I am so tired. My knee was bugging me Tuesday evening something fierce- broke down and took half a vicodin to get through. Better today, but I was horribly groggy until almost evening.

Got home tonight and realized I wanted a drink, so I'm finishing the last third of a bottle of white wine that I've had in the fridge. If it were red, I'd notice the change (oxidation, etc.), but since I don't drink much white I can't tell at all. *wry grin*


Watching Homicide and dealing with some email, then off to bed.

Was awakened at 9:15 this morning by the phone- I have a one-day contract tomorrow updating a small company's web site. Yay! Only a day, but a full day with a decent hourly rate. So that's cool.


Went to feed the fish and discovered four new babies. I think the white molly will end up being called Big Momma or something. Five of her first brood of six are alive and well and growing like mad, and I don't think she's quite done today. Wonder what mix these will be...


Bleh.... maybe I'll go back to bed for another hour or so before I head over to the office for the afternoon.

About half an hour after I was told I HAD a job for tomorrow, I got a call saying the client had decided to do it in-house, instead.

So much for a well-paying job tomorrow.
