Thought I'd check email, which somehow led to updating my dice.com profile and re-announcing my availability. Who knows, might work. Can't hurt, might help. (and many more such clichés)

This also reminded me that not only do I desperately need to update my html resume, I also need to update my entire friggin site.

Checked university and county postings; there's an editorial assistant position with the university press and an assistant children's librarian with Anoka Co; that would be about it. (Saw those after I gave up looking for web dev stuff.)

The content management position I applied for a couple weeks ago has been reposted- this time with a different (and far more likely) contact address.

I just sent off another resume for it, with a mention that it was a duplicate.

They had their ad up for two weeks with the incorrect contact email... did it really take them that long to notice??

Oh! Just had a call from a consulting firm I used to work through. They've got a possible for me. Commute's not bad, no parking fees, decent pay, 3-month contract.

A bit more graphics work than I usually do- but then again, last couple jobs they had me on involved design & graphics and I did just fine. So I'm not too worried about THAT part of it. If it's a match, they're doing interviews later this week, for a possible start as soon as next week.

A paycheck coming in again would be nice. *nods*
