Oct. 23rd, 2001 10:57 pmWell, my class consists of three people. Two of whom have a clue, and one who's not exactly the sharpest tack in the box, so to speak. (Actually, she's the "political" one- knows people and knows how to arrange things. Techie stuff isn't her forte, but she's been thrown into it. S'pose I shouldn't knock her, she is trying. When she's not in meetings.)
It's been kind of frustrating, because it turns out I'm not just teaching them how to use the software, I'm teaching them WHAT the software is, and how to do the very specific tasks of working with the MEC2 site- WITHOUT anyone knowing enough about it to tell me what it is they're trying to do.
Thankfully, two of them seem to be enjoying it!
Now to write up what I showed them today, so they have it for reference. Seemed more sensible to write it up after, so I'd know what we got through, and where trouble areas were.
I am so exhausted. Guess being sick so soon again took more out of me than I'd thought. First bronchitis, followed right away by a sinus infection, which I'm still getting over. (Dare I hope I'm just getting all the winter sickies out of the way right off the bat?)
