Oct. 2nd, 2001 06:36 pmWent to another job fair today. These NPI affairs usually have 50-70 employers there; if they broke 20 today I'd be surprised.
Hardly any of them were there to look for techie types.
I did get a call late this afternoon about a possible short contract, but there are no details yet. Explained about the current situation that would probably keep me from being available this week, but they didn't even know about a start date yet, so they're going to see what can be set up.
It's the same client I've worked for a couple times before. Since they asked particularly for me, I suspect that it might be possible to work something out.
This would be a Good Thing.
