Sep. 27th, 2001 03:00 pmI hate bronchitis. More than that, I hate the feeling of pressure in your chest that makes it hard to breathe.
Been sending out more resumes, and heard about a job fair scheduled for next Tuesday. Had a call yesterday from a place I've already been through the interview process with, saying they're just not hiring right now, and have had to let a few people go. However, I was assured that I'm at the top of the list for when they start hiring again, which they hope to do in a few months. (That's the good news?)
Sure would be nice to have a real job. An actual income. Something to do every day. (Well, when I can breathe, anyway.)
I keep thinking I need to be more upbeat about this, but I think I ran out of that a couple months ago. Still manage to make bad jokes about it when asked, so I guess I'm not completely buried by it!
