This tragedy is bringing out the best in some people- witness pretty much anyone in the vicinity on the WTC on Tuesday, or those who are working through the days with little rest, both there and around the country, whether they're digging through rubble, donating blood, or volunteering their services, homes, or offices to people in need.
But it's also bringing out some real darkness in others. The need to draw blood, to place blame, to strike out in anger.
Now that it's seeming more certain who was behind this, yes, something MUST be done.
But, it makes no sense to use a wrecking ball to go after a hive of wasps. You might smash the hive, but you also take out the trees, and leave a lot of seriously pissed off wasps free to come after you.
Seems to me there are far more effective ways of dealing with a hive of wasps.
