Just heard there was another round of layoffs at Fallon today. Wonder who got cut this time.
Started working for Woody today. He had been thinking (as he contemplated several large piles of filing) that it would be really nice to have someone else who could do that. He thought maybe I'd be interested.
It gets me out of the house, and brings in some much needed cash.
Only about 20 hrs/week to start, but it's something. Supposedly they'll be needing some documentation written in the near future, too.
Not sure I'm going to bother with the job fair tomorrow. Same one I went to a few weeks back, with lots of clerical positions and three companies hiring for technical work. And those three have gotten my resume at almost every job fair for the past 6+ months. Why pay for parking to hand them yet another copy?
