Nov. 21st, 2002 01:29 pmMy laptop arrived about an hour and a half ago; I've been playing with it and changing settings to make it more "mine".
Only thing is, I'm having trouble getting it and the router to see each other. I think it might be the ethernet cable- hope VERY much it's not the machine itself! (I'd pull the one from the other machine to test that, but after getting them all carefully threaded through from desktop to machine beneath I don't care to mess with that again. Just need to remember where I have my spares...
But for now, I'm grabbing some food and drugs and going back to bed; I can barely see through this damned sinus headache.
(an hour later)
I did pull the other cable and found that it did work with that, so it's just a matter of remembering where I have my extras.
Had a business call right after, and now I really am going to get food and drugs and go back to bed. Really.
